SkillsDecoder provides AI-powered tools to assist workforce development professionals in creating employment documents. SkillsDecoder is a supplemental tool and does not replace professional judgment, case management systems, or direct participant engagement.

SkillsDecoder does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview callbacks, or any specific results from documents generated through the platform.

2. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Review all AI-generated content for accuracy before providing to participants
• Verify all personal information, work history, and skills are truthful
• Not inflate job titles, fabricate work experience, or include false information
• Maintain responsibility for final documents provided to participants
• Ensure participants consent to having their information processed
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding employment and data protection

3. No Guarantee of Results

EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES: SkillsDecoder provides tools to assist in document creation but makes no guarantees regarding employment outcomes, interview callbacks, job offers, or hiring decisions. Employment results depend on numerous factors outside of SkillsDecoder's control.

Users acknowledge that AI-generated content is suggestive in nature and requires professional review and editing before use.

4. AI Content Disclaimer

AI-GENERATED CONTENT: SkillsDecoder uses artificial intelligence to generate employment documents. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions. Users must review, edit, and verify all generated content before use.

SkillsDecoder is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inappropriate content in AI-generated documents.

5. Data Handling & Storage

DATA PROCESSING: SkillsDecoder processes participant information solely to generate requested documents. Data is:

• Transmitted securely via encrypted connections
• Not stored permanently on our servers
• Not sold or shared with third parties
• Processed through Anthropic's Claude API (subject to Anthropic's privacy policy)

Users are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from participants before entering their personal information into SkillsDecoder.

6. Limitation of Liability

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillsDecoder's total liability for any claims arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

SkillsDecoder is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost employment opportunities or income
• Decisions made by employers based on generated documents
• Data loss or service interruptions
• Third-party actions or decisions

7. Indemnification

INDEMNIFICATION: Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkillsDecoder from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Misuse of the service
• Violation of these terms
• False or misleading information provided to participants
• Violation of any laws or third-party rights
• User's failure to obtain appropriate consents

8. Prohibited Uses

Users may not:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Generate documents containing false or fabricated information
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the service
• Resell or redistribute access to the service
• Use the service in a way that violates any applicable laws
• Share login credentials with unauthorized users

9. Service Availability

SERVICE AVAILABILITY: SkillsDecoder is provided "as-is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

10. Changes to Terms

MODIFICATIONS: SkillsDecoder reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

GOVERNING LAW: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Davidson County, Tennessee.

Users agree to attempt good-faith resolution of disputes before initiating legal action.

12. Termination

TERMINATION: SkillsDecoder reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason.
